My Australian Dream

Na gisteren een bezoekje te hebben gebracht aan het ziekenhuis is het duidelijk geworden dat er geen ontkomen aan is, ik zal naar Australie moeten gaan met de gips. 6-8 weken hebben ze mij voorgeschreven. 5 augustus mag ik nog wel eens terug om te kijken of ik geen afneembare gips kan krijgen maar dat zat er voor nu nog niet in. Dus dat word hopen voor het beste vrees ik...

Yesterday I had to go to the hospital here in Belgium to get a new x-ray and new cast. And everything is clear now, I'll have to go to Australia with a cast. 6-8weeks, that's what the doctor told me. The only hope that I have now is that they will give me another removeble cast on the 5th of august when I have to go back for another check up.. So let's hope for the best now

Terug van Spanje, verjaardag gepasseerd en nu word het dus echt aftellen voor ik vertrek. Jaja nog iets minder dan een maand en ik ben aan de andere kant van de wereld, wat gaat de tijd toch snel soms. De vraag is alleen word het vertrekken met de gips of gaat hij er nog net op tijd afmogen? Ja dat krijg je als je op adventure kamp gaat in Spanje, dan is de kans op een gebarsten pols altijd groter zeker.. Voorlopig staat het op 2 wekengips dus dan zou het nog goed moeten komen.. Maar dat was wat ze in Spanje zeiden, Belgie daarintegen geeft normaal nooit minder dan 3 weken een gips dus dat kan nog spannend worden straks bij de dokter enzo.. Laten we allemaal maar duimen dat alles nog goed komt...

en voor de vraag van Tessy.. Zie gewoon dat ge mijn blog elke week eens een keertje checkt want ik denk niet dat je vorige keer een mailtje daarvoor kreeg :s

Back from Spain, had my birthday, so now the countday can really start. A bit less than a month and I'll be on the other side of the world. The question now is will it be with a cast or without? Yeah that's what you get when you go on adventure camp in Spain, the chance of breaking something is always bigger then I guess. The doctors in Spain promised me 2 weeks with the cast but here in Belgium they never give less then a month as far as I know so lets hope that the doctor tonight is nice with me.. So let's all cross our fingers and hope for the best...

Na een tijdje in spanning gewacht te hebben kan ik jullie meedelen dat ik nu officieel naar  Australie kan vertrekken. Ik heb vandaag een mailtje gekregen van de immigratiedienst in Australie dat mijn visa is goedgekeurd dus 11 augustus kan ik met een gerust hartje vertrekken. Alhoewel ik daar dan toch nog de douane moet gaan overleven maar dat zal wel in orde komen, en anders zien jullie het wel op 'grenscontrole'zeker :p

Voor de rest ga ik zodadelijk eens vertrekken voor mijn reisje naar Spanje. Komt dat weer goed uit dus dat ik die mail net op tijd heb gekregen :D

After having to wait for a long time I can now announce that my visa has been granted. So now I can go official to Australia without any worries. So now I can leave to Spain without having any nerves about the visa, so I can fully enjoy my stay over there. Now all I got to do is  survive the carantine at the airport which wouldn't be a big of a problem I hope and else you will see me soon on 'border security'

So that's all for now. I'm off to Spain an let's all hope the weather is there as good as it is here :D
