My Australian Dream

Bezoekje aan de radiologie in  Antwerpen zit er ook weer op. Alles zou dus nu in orde moeten zijn langs mijn kant. De resutlaten van de x-ray mochten ze niet zeggen maar worden opgestuurd richting immigratie Australie en als alles goed gaat zal ik dan eind deze week, begin volgende week iets moeten vernemen van de immigratiedienst.. Maarja zoals we allemaal weten is de post hier niet van de snelste en die in Australie ook niet dus laten we hopen dat ze deze keer hun job wel eens goed uitvoeren zodat eindelijk al die paperassen in orde zijn!!

Yesterday I finally went for my x-rays, had to go all the way to the radiology in Antwerp for only 1 stupid picture of my chest. When it all finish they even couldn't tell me the results of the x-ray.. Don't know why that is good for... Well they said they will send the results to the immigration department of Australia and they would then let me know the outcome of the results.. If everything goes well they would have the results by the end of the week, beginning next week so they will let me know then how it was.. But as we all know it the Belgian post not that fast, and I already heard that the one in Australia isn't that much better. So let's just hope they do their job well for once so I don't have to bother anymore about all the stupid paperwork.

Iedereen weet dat Sydney best wel groot is. En voor diegene die dat niet wisten geloof mij, het is groot. Het zou ongeveer even groot zijn als Belgie. In Belgie van de ene kant naar de andere kant rijden zou ongeveer 3uur duren wat ook ongeveer geld voor Sydney. Dus ik heb eens een kaart gevonden van Sydney en zijn gehuchten. Ik zal ik Pennant Hills wonen want ik heb omcirkeld op de kaart. Het is ongeveer 30min rijden naar het centrum en ook 30 min naar northern beaches.

As we all know Syndey is BIG, and for the people who don't know that yet believe me. If I calculated it right Sydney would be as big as Belgium. As driving in Belgium from west to east would be 3 hours iot would be about the same in Sydney. So I found a map of Sydney and his subrurns and I'll be staying in Pennant hills which I marked in the map. Driving to the northern beaches would take 30min and driving to the center would be about 30min as well. Not that bad I guess.

Als alles vlotjes verloopt moet er toch altijd iets zijn dat niet meewerk.. Ik heb al een nieuw paspoort en een nieuwse pas is onderweg. Dus het werd tijd om mijn visum aan te vragen. Aanvraag ingediend en daar chrashte de site van de staat van Australie..Of ja een crash kan je het niet echt noemen maar de pagina's die ik net nodig heb om mijn status te kunnen bekijken werken niet meer. ERROR, ERROR, ERROR, ik word bijna gek van dat woord nu. Maar voor mijn aanvraag goedgekeurd kan worden zal ik eerst nog naar het ziekenhuis kunnen gaan om er enkele x-ray's en misschien nog wat onderzoeken te doen om te kijken of ik echt wel zo gezond ben als ik beweer op mijn aanvraag. Nu maar hopen dat ze ineens geen ziektes in mij vinden waar ik geen weet van heb. Als dat dan in orde is en die domme site zou eens willen meewerken zou ik enkele dagen mijn visum hebben en kan ik helemaal vertrekken..

Dus allemaal duimen voor mij dat alles toch nog gaat meewerken.

In times that everything goes good there always must be something that doesn't want to work. I have my new pasport and a new ID is on the way, so all that could go wrong was my visa application. And I can tell you that doens't go smooth at all. The site kind of crashed after I did my application. Well not the whole website crahed but of course the pages that I need don't work anymore at all. All I know is that I got to go to the hospital and do some x-ray examinations so they can check that I'm that healty as I told them on my application. So let's hope now that they don't find any illnesses in my sertainly cause then I could have a big problem. But everything goes good during the examinations I'll have my visa some days later and then nothing can stop me anymore of going to Australia..

So all thumbs up for me that everything will go better soon.
